What is Equal Pay Day?
Equal Pay Day highlights the pay gap between women and men. It marks the point in the year from which women symbolically work without pay compared to men.
In the Netherlands, women’s average hourly earnings were 9,8% lower than men’s in 2025. Progress is being made, but equal pay is still not a reality for everyone.
