How do I place an order?
Via the steps below we show how you can order your Ted Louise.

 

  1. Search for the desired article on www.tedlouise.com
  2. Select the desired color on the product page
  3. To place the item in the shopping cart, click on the button: "ADD TO CART"
  4. At the top right of your screen you will see a shopping cart. Click on this to view your shopping card
  5. To complete your order, click on "ORDER"
  6. Go through and check all steps in the payment area
  7. As soon as you have placed you order you will receive a confirmation fe-mail from us. We will then immediately get to work to get your package to you as soon as possible.

 

TIP: Create a Ted Louise account immediately, so you can view all your details and orders afterwards.

 

Is it possible to reserve an item?
When we announce that there is a Pre-launch, it is possible to make a reservation. We will announce this via our Instagram account. Do you always want to be informed about our latest collections? Then follow our Instagram: @tedlouise.official or sign up for the newsletter.

 

How do I know if my order has arrived correctly?
As soon as your order has been completed, you will receive an e-mail from us with your order & order number. When your package has been shipped, you will receive an email from us with your track & trace number. If you have received these e-mails everything went well.

 

Can I change my (address) data?
Once your order has been placed, it is unfortunately not possible to change (address) data.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
Within the Netherlands we deliver for free via DHL. Click here for the costs for orders outside the Netherlands.

 

What can I do if the order is unsuccessful?
If there are problems with ordering, we advise you to contact our customer service info@tedlouise.com. We will work on a solution so that you receive the desired product.

 

When will my order be shipped?
We do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. If you order on working days, the order will be shipped within 2 working days *. When we have sent the package, you will receive an email with your track & trace code.

What can I do if my package is incomplete?
We always do our utmost best to send your package as fully and on time as possible. If something is missing or something else is wrong with your order, please contact our customer service within 2 days after delivery. Send your email to info@tedlouise.com. Do not forget to mention your order number in the e-mail.

I have a complaint about my purchase
If you have a complaint about a purchase, we advise you to send our customer service an email: info@tedlouise.com. Make sure to include the order number and a clear photo showing the complaint in the email. We will then contact you for the best solution.


EXCHANGE & RETURN

When can I return something?
If you want to return an item, please send an email to info@tedlouise.com. We strive to offer the best organized bags to our customers and every feedback is welcome. It will help us a lot if you specify a reason for return in the e-mail. Do not forget to mention your order number in the e-mail. We will send you a message with the return details. When you return your accessory, it is important that the items are unworn and undamaged and that you register your return within 14 days after receiving. Otherwise we cannot accept the return. Make sure you return all parts of the order, including all attached labels, stickers, wish card and the dust bag.

 

Can I exchange my item (s)?
It can always happen that you would prefer a different color. Please contact our customer service info@tedlouise.com. We will then check whether the item is in stock and what the options are.

 

What are the costs for returning my item(s)?
For the return of one or more items, the package must be delivered to a postal point. The costs of the return are for the consumer. When returning your item(s), ask for the shipping receipt with track&trace code and keep it safe. Always send a photo of the track&trace code to info@tedlouise.com. This way we stay informed of the status of your return shipment.

 

How can I return my items(s)?
Follow the steps below for correct handling of a return. 

Step 1: Send an e-mail with a reason for return to our customer service: info@tedlouise.com. You will receive a return form from us.

Step 2: Put the items you want to return, with all attached labels, stickers, dust bag and the return form back in the box. Do not forget to add the return form. Without a return form it is not possible for us to process your return.

Step 3: Write the return address you received from our customer service on the top of the box. Make sure that no other addresses are visible anymore. This prevents confusion at the carrier.

Step 4: Return the box to a post office.

Step 5: Save the track & trace code that you receive at the post office.

Step 6: Send a photo of your track&trace code to info@tedlouise.com with your order number.

 

What are the return conditions?

  • Item(s) must be returned within 14 days after receiving the order
  • The item(s) that you want to return must be returned unworn with all parts. In the original box with attached labels, stickers, wish card & dust bag
  • The item has no signs of use 

How long will it take before I get my purchase amount back?
After we have received your return, we will immediately start to initiate your refund. Depending on your bank, it can take up to 7 working days for the refund to be in your account.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to change your order after placing the order. If you want to cancel the order, you can. Keep in mind that we always do our best to ship the order as quickly as possible. It may be that your order is already on its way. If your order is already on its way, you can return it via within 14 days.

PAYMENT METHOD

iDEAL
iDEAL is the most popular online payment method in the Netherlands. With an iDEAL payment you will be referred to the payment environment of your bank during the payment process. If you use this payment method, the amount will be debited from your account immediately.

To place an order via Paypal you must have a Paypal account that is linked to a payment card.

If you choose the credit card payment method, you can postpone the payment of the order for a while.

MAINTENANCE & GUARANTEE

Maintenance
A Ted Louise accessory is made to support you every step of the way. We would like to advise you on maintaining your accessory so that it always looks perfect. Every Ted Louise is made from 100% full grain leather, which is the highest quality leather available. The more you use the leather accessory, the more it will come to life. In order to maintain the soft, smooth and supple texture of your accessory, we would like to advise you on the best care for your Ted Louise. Although leather is somewhat resistant to water, it is wise to take care of your bag with waterproof leather spray. With the help of high-quality leather care products that contain oils and fats, the leather will remain better hydrated, supple, waterproof and radiant.

Always read the packaging for proper use of the spray. For the best result: spray the bag every three months with the waterproof leather spray. Think of it as food for your bag. This not only ensures that the bag is waterproof, it is a cleaning and nutrition in one treatment. With regular use, it ensures that the leather remains in the best condition. Avoid contact with rough surfaces in front of your accessory. Then it can be scratched. Always wear your light accessory with light clothing to prevent color transfer from your clothes to the accessory. Avoid prolonged contact with water and be aware that humidity can increase color transfer and bleeding onto clothing. The accessories must not be washed, ironed, dry cleaned or bleached.


Did the bag get wet?
We recommend that you pat the bag dry with a cloth and then hang it up and let it dry. Then the bag dries the best. Do not use a hair dryer in this process. When the leather has dried, the material may have become stiffer and less resilient in texture.


Only the best is good enough
At Ted Louise we always go for the best and best achievable result. For this, the leather products need nutrition every now and then. By taking care of the leather accessory every 2 to 3 months with high-quality leather care products that contain oils and fats will keep the leather hydrated, supple, waterproof and radiant.


Best way to store a Ted Louise
A leather skin will discolour, just like our skin, when exposed to light for a long time. The accessories may even stiffen or dry out. That is why we give a dust bag with every Ted Louise. Put the accessory in this bag and store it somewhere where it will not be exposed to light.


Guarantee
At Ted Louise we stand for quality and expertise. Our products are handmade in a factory that has specialized in producing bags for years. Despite the careful final inspection, a defect can sometimes arise. Because we at Ted Louise believe in the quality of our products, we give a guarantee of 12 months from the date of purchase. The purchase date is the date on which the product was ordered. To make use of our guarantee, the purchase receipt must be presented.

The following cases are excluded from the warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear, such as scratches or damage
  • Damage caused by overloading the bags
  • Damage caused by careless use of the bags
  • Normal wear and tear of zippers
  • The more flexible or stretching of the leather after use.


If you want to make use of the guarantee, please contact our customer service info@tedlouise.com. Do not forget to add the purchase receipt as an attachment in the e-mail. We will then contact you for further details. We always strive to repair the bag within two weeks after receiving the bag.
